Adoption Prerequisites

Please note that our adoption application can take 15-20 minutes to complete.

Please complete the following prerequisite questionnaire, and if you feel comfortable proceeding, the page will redirect you to our adoption application.

Pre-App Questionnaire

I am over the age of 21*

I understand that Evergreen Pug Rescue is located in Washington state.*
- I agree
I understand that I am required to pick up my adoptive pug from its foster located in Washington state. Evergreen Pug Rescue does not ship dogs or allow transportation services*
- I agree
I am ready to welcome a dog into my home within 1 week of selection (virtual meet and greet). Evergreen Pug Rescue does not hold dogs, so if I cannot pick up my new pug within the week or so of the virtual meet and greet, Evergreen Pug Rescue will move on to the next adopter.*

I have no major travel or life events preventing me from adopting in the next three months.*

My resident dog(s) are fixed, vaccinated, and friendly (if there are no dogs at home, click agree).*

I am aware of the requested adoption donations associated with Evergreen Pug Rescue.*
- I agree
I understand that applying to adopt a specific dog does not guarantee eligibility to adopt that dog. It also does not guarantee that the dog will still be available once I am approved to adopt.*

I will check my email after submitting my adoption application and ensure Evergreen Pug Rescue is identified as a “safe sender” so that I do not miss important communication regarding my adoption application, including information on how to complete my home check and schedule an adoption interview.*
