I'm not quite ready to go to my new home.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. I know it's easy to fall in love with a cute face, but one of the most important things Evergreen Pug Rescue can do for a dog is give them time. Time to settle in. Time to feel safe. Time to receive any veterinary care they may need. And most importantly, time to learn who they really are. Because while my photos may tell part of my story, they don't tell all of it. Am I a champion cuddler? A toy enthusiast? A professional sunbeam napper? What kind of home will help me thrive? Those are the things my rescuers are still learning. Before the adoption team begins considering applications for me, I'll have my veterinary exam and spend some time letting everyone get to know me a little better. It's not because anyone thinks something is wrong—it's simply because the best matches happen when we understand the dog behind the wrinkles. For now, I'm focusing on settling in, enjoying plenty of love and care, and showing my foster family exactly who I am.
