Sterling is a 1.5-year-old pug who is finally getting the chance to learn what it means to be loved. She was found chained to a pipe outside a home with no food, no water, and no shelter, facing a future where she would be used for breeding. The hard reality is that this is how some dogs are treated, and we are incredibly thankful we were able to save Sterling from that life. Right now, we’re giving her the time and space to decompress while we get to know her. We can only imagine what living without the love, comfort, and care every dog deserves has done to her—but those days are behind her now. From here on out, Sterling gets to discover what being someone’s cherished family member is supposed to feel like.
