Bernard is a 10-year-old sweetheart who joined Evergreen Pug Rescue as a local rescue-to-rescue transfer. This gentle old man has been on quite the medical journey, and thanks to great care, he’s now feeling comfortable and settled. He’s on prescription food, takes Apoquel for his skin, and will need lifelong eye drops—but he handles it all like a pro.
Bernard may have limited eyesight, but don’t let that fool you—he gets around just fine and knows how to make himself at home. He loves adult people, is great with other dogs, and brings a calm, steady presence wherever he goes.
At this stage in life, Bernard is looking for a peaceful home where he can truly relax. He’d do best in an environment with kids 13+. In return, he offers easy companionship, a gentle presence, and all the charm of a pug who’s seen a thing or two.
