Bosco is estimated to be between 6–8 months old and is one of three young pups Evergreen recently stepped in to help in California.
Bosco and several other dogs were being given away for free from a home. Unfortunately, we know that “free to a good home” doesn’t always lead to a good home — and young, unaltered dogs can be particularly vulnerable. When we learned about these guys, we wanted to make sure they had a safe path forward.
Bosco is spending today at the veterinary clinic getting neutered and receiving all of the medical care he needs, including vaccines, heartworm and fecal testing, microchip, full exam, preventatives, and his health certificate for travel to Washington.
He’s young, his whole life is ahead of him, and now he gets the chance to start it surrounded by people committed to making sure he is healthy, safe, and loved.
