Daffodil truly couldn’t be any sweeter. This gentle little girl can sometimes a bit timid when you first meet her, but give her a little time, affection, and reassurance, and you’ll get to watch something pretty special happen.
As Daffodil begins to feel safe and comfortable, her true personality starts to shine. She comes out of her shell, soaks up the love and attention, and shows you just how darling she really is.
And if you’re lucky, you may even get treated to one of her adorable zoomie sessions! Once she’s feeling happy and secure, Daffodil will suddenly zip around with pure joy—and watching this once-shy little girl let loose might just be the cutest thing ever.
She settled in beautifully in her foster home. At first, she wanted to follow her people everywhere, but she’s now becoming more comfortable and confident. She’ll happily relax on the couch or even hang out in her crate with the door open because she likes having her own cozy spot. She’s working on her pug manners, including “sit,” “wait,” and “down”. She’s a smart girl, so with consistency and positive reinforcement, she should catch on quickly.
Daffodil has a wonderfully gentle temperament and does great with other dogs—and she is also really, really good with kids! She walks beautifully on a leash and is such an easy walking companion that even the kids can help walk her. She has been excellent at meeting neighborhood dogs on leash when out for a walk.
Daffodil is sweet, affectionate, playful, and wonderfully easygoing. She is looking for a home that will give her the patience to settle in and all the love she deserves. Give her a little time to bloom, and you’ll discover just how special this little flower really is.
