Delilah—affectionately known as “Missy” in her foster home—is a one-year-old, pocket-sized girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. After coming into rescue needing a little extra medical support, she’s now feeling great and fully embracing life.
She is incredibly sweet, very social with other dogs, and absolutely fearless—likely thanks to her Chihuahua side. Missy is full of energy and loves to be part of whatever is happening, but she also has a softer side and is happy to snuggle up when it’s time to wind down.
She’s a smart little dog who is already learning to sit and is eager to please. She’s still working on house training and reducing accidents, but she’s making progress. Like many young dogs, she enjoys chewing—especially her Nyla-bone—and will happily try to recruit fingers and arms into playtime if given the chance.
Medically, she’s in great shape and just wrapping up the final steps of her care. She’s finishing her last round of treatment for whipworms later this month, with a routine follow-up fecal test to confirm she’s fully cleared—something we expect her to breeze right through.
Missy is playful, curious, and full of life. She’s the kind of dog who will keep you entertained, keep you on your toes, and then curl up next to you like she’s been yours forever.
