Isla is a resilient, affectionate young pug with a steady spirit and a deep devotion to her other half, Kingston. At around two years old, she balances playful charm with an old-soul calm, happiest when she’s snuggled up close to her people and right beside Kingston.
Isla previously lost one eye after an incident with a larger dog. She has adapted beautifully and navigates her world with confidence and awareness. Her vision difference does not slow her down or define her — what defines Isla is her determination, sweetness, and quiet loyalty.
She loves people and has done well in social settings like farmers markets, taking in new environments with curiosity and composure. She is affectionate and expressive — especially when it comes to giving Kingston enthusiastic daily face kisses.
Isla does well with other dogs and has thrived alongside her foster siblings. While she is deeply bonded to Kingston and must be adopted with him, she is not exclusive and enjoys being part of a pack.
Car rides are still a work in progress and will require patience. Potty training is improving with consistency. Like many pugs, Isla can be a bit stubborn — but she responds well to structure, kindness, and routine.
Isla is looking for a home that understands her bond with Kingston and is ready to welcome both of them. Together, they offer steady companionship, warmth, and a lifetime of shared devotion.
Currently fostered in Tacoma, Washington. Our combined adoption donation is $1500.
