Amy

Amy (she/her) is thrilled to join the Evergreen Pug Rescue family as a Foster Coordinator. She brings experience from her previous job working at the humane society, an opportunity that provided a strong foundation in animal advocacy and bridging the human-animal connection. Her current career path in healthcare has continued to allow her to champion and advocate for others.

When she is not identifying risks and helping optimize performance for hospital pharmacy systems, she spends time with her family, including their 16-year-old pug, Bob. Bob came into her life when he was around six months old, after a good Samaritan found him in a garbage bag on the side of an isolated roadway and brought him to the humane society where Amy worked. When she walked into the shelter’s medical area, their eyes met, and it was love at first sight. From that moment on, she was Bob’s person.

Her other interests include pub trivia nights with friends, attending horror movie conventions with her husband, creating a “goth” garden aesthetic in their backyard, doing the daily Wordle, and amateur (very amateur) birdwatching.

She is excited to help pugs and pug mixes find their perfect humans and ensure a smooth adoption process for all.
