  • Evergreen Pug Rescue was founded by a devoted group of pug enthusiasts who wanted to create a community-focused rescue in Washington, operating transparently and collaboratively, process-based, under the guidance of a dedicated board of directors. Our vision was to create a rescue that prioritized the highest standards of ethical animal treatment, exceptional veterinary care, and a safe, positive experience for everyone involved—fosters, adopters, and, most importantly, the pugs.

  • At Evergreen Pug Rescue, our top priority is serving the local community. For us, "local" encompasses all of Washington—from the coastal shores to the Inland Northwest Spokane area, and Central Washingon down through the Tri-Cities. We also extend our support to neighboring states without dedicated pug rescues, such as Idaho and Montana.

    For assistance in Oregon, we recommend reaching out to Pacific Pug Rescue, based in Portland. Together, we’re working to ensure every pug in need finds a loving home.

  • Yes, and even Oregon too, but with so many dogs in need, there can never be too many rescues. The more, the better! Until every pug has a loving home, we’re thrilled to do our part to help.

We promise timely and spectacular veterinary care and will do everything we can to provide the best experience all around.
